Introducing Test History in Testim: Because Past Performance Does Matter
Is past performance an indicator of future success? While Wall Street might say no, at Testim, we believe it absolutely is—especially when it comes to testing. That’s why we’re excited to introduce our new Test History feature, now available to all Testim users.
What Is It?
Test History is a powerful new capability that gives users access to historical data on test lists and suite runs. It’s designed to provide deeper visibility into your testing trends, helping you make smarter decisions and improve your testing strategy over time.
Why Should You Care?
With Test History, you can go beyond pass/fail results and start uncovering meaningful patterns in your test performance. You’ll be able to:
- Analyze how many tests ran during a selected time frame
- See how many passed or failed
- Track the average duration of each run
- Compare performance across different environments
- Identify scenarios or environments that consistently fail
This level of insight empowers project teams to spot trends, troubleshoot recurring issues, and demonstrate improvements over time. Whether you’re scaling your testing efforts or fine-tuning your CI/CD pipeline, Test History gives you the data to back your decisions.
What’s Included?
You can filter your test history using several parameters:
- Run time – Focus on specific time windows
- Specific tests or all tests – Zoom in or out as needed
- Last X runs – Analyze recent performance
- Status – Filter by pass, fail, or other outcomes
- Browser – Compare results across different browsers
